MINUTES OF THE MUNICIPAL PLANNING COMMISSION
JULY 28, 1992
The regular Municipal Planning Commission meeting of the County
of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta
on Tuesday, July 28, 1992 commencing at 1:30 p.m.

1. Excused from Meeting
Moved by Councillor Bulger that we excuse Councillor Wallace
from the meeting. Carried.
2. Minutes
Minutes of the June 30, 1992 meeting were presented. It was
moved by E. Buday that we adopt these minutes as circulated.
Carried.
3. Business from the Minutes
No business arising from the Minutes.
4. Permits
1. #1070 - Fred Conners - New House
Waiver of Setback - NE29-20-12-4
Patricia
After reviewing this application, it was moved by G. Niznik
that we approve this permit and allow a waiver of setback of
5 metres and proceed with the necessary advertising. Carried.
2. ~~1072 - Ferron Kenmore - Hay Cuber-Grain Storage

After reviewing this application, it was moved by Councillor
Bulger that we approve this application and proceed with the
necessary advertising. Carried.
3. ~~1073 - Jim Allen - Barn-Riding AreA/~,
Lot 6 Blk 1 Plan 7910803 - Brooks
After reviewing this application, it was moved by E. Buday

5. Land Use Changes
Nil.
6. Home Occupation Licences
Nil.
7. Subdivisions
1. 92 SE 65 - A. Hullman
After reviewing this application, it was moved by E. Buday that
we approve this application, and recommend it to County Cour..cil
for final approval. Carried.
2. 92 SE 68 - A. Irwin
After reviewing this application, it was moved by G. Niznik
that we approve this application, and recommend it to County
Council for final approval. Carried.
8. Delegation - C. Hansen -•92 SE.50
Moved by E. Buday that we lift this item from the table. Carried.
After a lengthy discussion on this application and hearing comments
from Mr. Hansen, it was moved by G. Nizik that we table this
item until the next M.P.C. meeting. Carried.
9. Other Business
1. Intensive Livestock Operations
Copies of this report were given to the M.P.C. members for
their review.
2. By-Law 1055-92 - C. Blair Subdivision - Closing of Cul-de-sac
Information was presented to Council in regard to the closing
of this cul-de-sac and the new proposal of the registration of
the 6 lots, until such time that the cul-de-sac is closed.
After further discussion on this item, it was moved by Councillor
Bulger that we approve the recomendation of the surveyor for the
closing and cancellation of the cul-de-sac in the Blair subdivision.
Carried.
10. Development Report
The Development Report for July was presented to the Commission.
11. Post Agenda Items
1. Long Range Planning
A discussion took place in regard to this and our future projects
that might be carried out by the Regional Planning Commission.

Moved by G. Niznik that this meeting adjourn at 3:30 p.m.
