MINUTES OF THE MUNICIPAL PLANNING COMMISSION
FEBRUARY 23, 1993
The regular Municipal Planning Commision Meeting of the County
of Newell No. 4 was held in the County Office, in Brooks, Alberta
on Tuesday, February 23, 1993 commencing at 1:30 p.m.

1, Excused from Meeting
All members were in attendance at the Meeting.
2, Minutes
Minutes of the January 26, 1993 meeting were presented. Moved
by G. Niznik that we adopt these minutes as circulated. Carried.
3, Business from the Minutes
6-1 Phyllis Smit - Development Permit 1102
Moved by P. Barg that we lift this item from the table.
Carried.
Mrs. Smit attended the meeting and presented information to
the Commission in regard to this Development Permit.
After further discussion on this permit, it was moved by
M. Loewen, that we refuse this permit, and that we advise
Mrs. Smit that if she wishes to proceed with the development
in this area that she do so by a subdivision plan.

4, Permits
~k1105-Prairie Custom & Collision Auto Body Shop-Blk S-3971 HY Brooks
Information was presented to the Commission on this item. After
discussion it was moved by G. Niznik that we approve this
application and that the Permit indicate that no dismantled cars
be left at the site for a period of longer than two weeks.
Carried.
5. Land Use Change
Nil
6. Home Occupation Licences
Nil
7, Subdivisions
93-SE-6 Fujimoto
Information was presented on this subdivision, and it was moved
by Councillor Scheuerman that we approve this subdivision. Carried.
93-SE-9 Treasury Branch
Information was presented on this application. It was then moved
by P. Barg that we approve this application, and that a 15 metre
access road is to be included in the subdivision parcel to provide
the necessary access to this subdivided parcel. Carried.
93-SE-12 K. Gongal
Information was presented on this subdivision, and Mr. Gongal also
met with the Commission and presented information. After
discussion, it was moved by Councillor Scheuerman that we approve
this application. Carried.
93-SE-14 A. Bailey
Information was presented on this application, and it was moved by
P. Barg that we table this application for more information.
Carried.
g. Other Business
1. Information on Kimmel subdivision - 92-SE-89
Information was presented to the Commission in regard to the
withdrawal of the servicing agreement for this subdivision by
the County Council.
2. A.A.M.D.& C.- Small Gravel Pit Regulations
A letter from the A.A.M.D.& C. concerning this item was
presented and after discussion it was moved by P. Barg that
we table this item for more information. Carried.
9, Development Report
The Development Report was submitted by the Development Control
Officer.
10. Adjourn
Moved by G. Niznik that this meeting adjourn at 3:20 p.m. Carried.
