Minutes of Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
November 30, 1993
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County of Newell #4 was held in the
County Office at Brooks, Alberta on Tuesday, November 30, 1993 commencing at i :30 p.m.

2. Minutes
~h~ Minutes of the October 26, 1993 meeting were presented to the Commission. Moved by
Councillor Loewen that we adopt these minutes as circulated subject to questioning. Carried.
3. Business from Minutes

After discussion, it was moved by Councillor Scheuerman that we table this item. Carried.

Moved by L. Buday that this item be lifted from the table. Carried.
Ilene & Doral Douglas were in attendance at this meeting to discuss the above-noted subdivision.
Moved by Councillor Loewen that we recommend approval of this subdivision to County Council
subject to entering into a joint access with Douglas Country Inn, an agreement with the Eastern
Irrigation District for water, and that cash in•lieu-of Public Reserve be set at 52000.00 per acre.
Carried.

Moved by Councillor Scheuerman that we table this Permit until Subdivision approval is obtained.

Moved by B. Bergen that we approve this Licence. Carried.

Moved by Councillor Loewen that we excuse Councillor Barg from discussion and voting on this
item. Carried.
Councillor Barg left the meeting. Councillor Loewen took the chair in the absence of the
Chairman.
The Planner explained that the present subdivisions in this quarter are irrigation subdivisions and,
~... therefore, this subdivision is to be considered the first parcel out. Moved by Councillor
Scheuerman that we recommend approval of this subdivision to County Council subject to a Water
Agreement with the Eastern Irrigation District. Carried.
Councillor Barg returned to the meeting and took the chair.

The Development Control Officer presented this report. Moved by Councillor Loewen that we
accept this report. Carried.
9. Adjourn
Moved by Councillor Scheuerman that the meeting adjourn at 4:20 p.m. Carried.
