Minutes of Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
September 27, 1994
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County of Newell #4 was held in the
County Office at Brooks, Alberta on Tuesday, September 27, 1994 commencing at 1:30 p.m.

Moved by Councillor Loewen that we excuse B. Bergen from this meeting. Carried.

Minutes of the August 30, 1994 meeting were presented to the Commission. Moved by
Councillor Loewen that we adopt these minutes as circulated. Carried.
3. Call for Post Agenda Items

The Chairman called for post agenda items.
4. Business from Minutes
There was no business from the minutes.
5. Delegation
1. Errol Renn -Mobile Home Park at Renke Meadows
Errol Renn met with the Commission to present them with plans for a mobile home park at Renke
Meadows located in NW 33-18-15-4. Mr. Renn was advised that we require a detailed lot plan
~- and he will have to apply for a Land Use Change for this area.
6. Permits

Moved by Councillor Scheuerman that we approve this Permit. Carried.
7. Home Occupation Licences
There were no Home Occupation Licences.
8. Land Use Changes
1. David &Dorrie Corcoran - SE 17-21-16.4 -Agriculture to Country Residential
The Planner advised that the previous parcel taken out of this quarter was an old school site
and, therefore, this parcel could be considered the first parcel out of the quarter. After
discussion, it was moved by Councillor Loewen that we consider this as an unsubdivided quarter
due to the first parcel being an old school site, and that we advise Mr. & Mrs. Corcoran that
they will not require a Land Use Change on this parcel, and refund their fee for the application.
Carried.

1. 94 SE 71 Allan & Marilyn Armstrong -Lot 3 Block 1 Plan 8311138 (NW 9-18-14-41

Moved by Councillor Scheuerman that we table this subdivision for further information and invite ..~
Mr. & Mrs. Armstrong to attend our next meeting. Carried.
2. 94 SE 66 -David &Dorrie Corcoran - SE 17.21-16-4
Moved by Councillor Loewen that we recommend to Council the approval of this Subdivision
subject to them entering into a Water Agreement with the E.I.D. Carried.
10. Development Report
The Development Control Officer presented the report far August 25194 -September 21194.
Moved by L. Buday that we approve this report. Carried.

The Development Control Officer presented information on the building located at the above
location.
2. Purchase of Land Use By-taw Books
The Development Control Officer advised that we need to purchase more Land Use By-law Books.
This is to be left to Administration to make these purchases.
13. Post Agenda Items
1. Permit #1294 - Rov Collister -Block 6 Plan 8011507 • Double Wide Mobile Home
Moved by Councillor Scheuerman that we approve this Permit. Carried.
2. Lakeside Lagoon • NW 19.19-14-4
The Development Control Officer presented information on a proposed lagoon at the above-noted
`_ location. Further information is to be obtained and presented to the Commission.
3. Westland Acres • SE 6-19-14-4

Discussion took place concerning the completion of this subdivision and the Development
Agreement regarding the streets. Moved by L. Buday that a letter be sent to the developer
advising that no further Development Permits will be issued until all of the conditions of the
Service Agreement have been fulfilled. Carried.
4. D.A.B. Hearing
Moved by Councillor Loewen that we excuse Chairman Barg from discussion and voting on this
item. Carried.
Chairman Barg left the Council Chambers.
In the absence of the Chairman, Councillor Loewen took the chair.
Discussion took place on the D.A.B. Hearing scheduled for September 30, 1994.
14. Adjourn
Moved by L. Buday that the meeting adjourn at 4:15 p.m. Carried.
