Minutes of Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
November 28, 1995
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County of Newell No. 4 was held in
the County Office at Brooks, Alberta on Tuesday, November 28, 1995 commencing at 10:00 a.m.

2. Minutes
Minutes of the October 31, 1995 meeting were presented to the Commission. Moved by
Councillor Baksa that we adopt these minutes as circulated. Carried.
3. Call for Post Agenda Items
The Chairman called for post agenda items.
4. Adoption of Agenda
Moved by Councillor Scheuerman that the agenda be adopted as amended. Carried.
5. Post Agenda Items
1. Delegation -Neil Johnson -Land Use Change
SW 10-19-14-4 -Urban Fringe to Country Residential
Moved by Councillor Baksa that we recommend to Council the approval of this Land Use Change
from Urban Fringe to Country Residential as highlighted on the proposed plan. Carried.

8-2 Permit #1458 -Albert Snyders Holdings Ltd. ~

Comments from the Town of Brooks on this proposed development were reviewed by the
Commission. Moved by Councillor Baksa that we deny this Permit as it is not a use that
complies with the Urban Fringe District and that the Commiss~n redo mend to Council the

approval of a Land Use Change from Urban Fringe to Country for the corresponding
2-acre parcel plus shop area, should the applicant apply. Carried. ~ /~,~

Further information will be obtained on this matter for the next meeting.

Moved by Councillor Baksa that we accept this report. Carried.

1. Belinda Craven -Request for Time Extension on Permit #1405
Plan 7919024 Block 15 Lot 13
Moved by A. Zagorsky that atime-extension be granted to July 1, 1996 for the completion of
conditions imposed on Permit #1405. Carried.

4. Lakeside
The Development Control Officer informed the Commission that Lakeside will be applying for a
Development Permit in the near future. She also presented information on proposed permitting
for intensive livestock operations.
