`The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County of Newell No.4
was held in the County Office at Brooks, AB on Tuesday, March 24, 1998
commencing at 10:00 a.m.

2. Minutes
Minutes of the February 24, 1998 meeting were presented to the Commission. Moved
by Councillor Baksa that we adopt these minutes as circulated. Carried.
3. Call for Post Agenda Items
The Chairman called for post agenda items.
4. Adoption of Agenda
Moved by Councillor Scheucrman that the agenda be adopted as amended. Carried.

1. Streel Signs for Subdivisions
"Phis item will be brought to the next meeting.
2. Subdivision Fees
Moved by Councillor Baksa that we recommend to Council that the per lot assessment
fee be collected at the time of application and that the ratepayer be refunded the per lot
fee for each lot that is not approved. Defeated.
6. Delegation
1. Development Permit Application #1785 -Lot 16, Block 1, Plan 2123FB
Rollin~71-fills -Hansen. Hans -Waiver of Setback
Mr. Elansen was in attendance to ask for a relaxation of his front setback. Moved by
A. Zagorsky that we approve a front setback relaxation of 5 feet on Lot 16, Block 1,
Plan 2123FB, Rolling Hills subject to the applicant containing drainage from his
property on his own property. Carried.
7. Permits
1. Development Permit Application #1774 - W '/2 28-20-15-W4 -Rosemary
Loewen. Dan -Intensive Livestock Operation
Mr. Loewen was in attendance and presented information on his application. Moved
by Councillor Baksa that we approve Development Permit Application #1774 for an
Intensive Livestock Operation on the W ''/Z 28-20-15-W4 subject to the conditions
outlined. in Attachment 3 of the Development Control Officer's Report. Carried.

Mr. Loren Calpas was in attendance and presented information on his application.
Moved by Councillor I3aksa that we approve Home Occupation Permit #80 on the
N W 18-17-12-W~3 subject to the conditions outlined. in Attachment 2 of the
Development Control Officer's Report with the following changes: Condition 5
deleted and Condition 9 changed to 200 vehicles. Carried.

Ms. Hingley was in attendance and presented information on this application. Moved
by A. Zagorsky that we approve Development Permit Application #1787 for a moved
in dwelling to be relocated to Lot 1, Block 3, Plan 8210238 in Rolling Hills subject to
the conditions outlined in Attachment 4 of the Development Control Officer's Report
and subject to receipt of an irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of $5,000.00

which can be exercised until August 31, 1998. Carried.

There were no land use changes presented.
9. Subdivisions
There were no subdivision applications presented.

The Development Report for l~ebruaiy 25, 1998 to March 18, 1998 was presented to
the Commission. Moved by Councillor Baksa that we approve this report. Carried.

There was no correspondence presented.
12. Other Business
1. Intensive Livestock Operations Regulations
Moved by Councillor Baksa that we agree with the Development Control Officer's
recommendations in his Report to County Council reviewing Intensive Livestock
Operations Regulations in Land Use Bylaw #1004-90. Carried.

A question period was held.

Moved by Councillor Baksa that the meeting adjourn at 12:15 p.m. Carried.
