Minutes of Municipal Planning Commission Meeting
August 30, 2001
A special Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County of Newell No.4 was held in
the County Office at Brooks, AB on Thursday, August 30, 2001 commencing at 10:00 a.m.

1. Call to Order
The Vice-Chairman called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m.

The Vice-Chairman introduced Contract Planner Jamal Ramjohn to the Commission.

2. Excused from Meeting
No members asked to be excused from this meeting. As this meeting was to deal with an
application from Dale Dola, and she had previously declared a pecuniary interest in this
matter, Chairman Baksa was not in attendance at this meeting.
3. 14-2 Dola, Dale - Pt. SE & SW 2-19-14-14-W4 -Division 10
OF -Urban Fringe District to LI -Light Industrial District
Moved by Councillor Douglass that the following motion be lifted from the table: "Moved by
Councillor Yermeeren that we recommend to Council that consideration be given to first reading
of a bylaw amending the Land Use Bylaw to change a portion of the SE and SW 2-19-14-YV4 from
OF - Urban Fringe District to DC -Direct Control District as shown in the plan received July 26,
2001 and that this district not come into affect until such time as a subdivision plan is registered at
Land Titles Office for the proposed amended property; and, development approval is granted by the
municipality for the operation of a livestock transport business within this portion of the SE and SW
2-19-14-W4". Carried.

The Commission recessed to view the site from 10:14 a.m. to 11:37 a.m.

The Commission recessed for lunch from 12:00 noon to 1:17 p.m.
