The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County of Newell No. 4 was
held in the County Office at Brooks, AB on Monday, November 20, 2006 commencing
at 10:01 a.m.

Development Control Officer will obtain the requested information for the
next Municipal Planning Commission meeting.
c) CSA 2240 -Manufactured Homes Act
The Acting Development Control Officer will obtain information on what
manufactured homes standards were before 1997 and what they are now
for the next Municipal Planning Commission meeting.

APPROVE Development Permit #2970 and that the building be classified as

District. Approval is being granted for the temporary placement of a 1976
moved in 93.65 m2 (1,008 ft.z) manufactured home with 47.57 m2 (512 ft z)
porch addition, as described in this application, where the following are
required prior to commencement of construction, final approval and
issuance of this permit:

Commercial District. Approval is being granted for the new construction of
334.45 mZ (3,600 ft.2) metal, heated truck wash bay and storage building,
as described in this application and approved in the site plan submitted on

this application, on Lot 2, Block 2, Plan 0610460. Any additional
development shall require prior approval of a separate permit
application.

a. all Federal, Provincial and Municipal statutes, regulations, codes and
standards.
b. the provisions of Section 94 of Land Use Bylaw #1443-03, and

moving-in of a temporary storage container being 39.39 mZ (424 ft.2) for

The Chairman advised the Commission of complaints received from
neighbors of Scott Miller regarding his dumping of possible human sewage
along the north fence line of his property. The Chairman will contact both
Alberta Health and Wellness and Alberta Environment for guidance, and if
the County cannot enforce any regulations in this matter, neighbors will
have to address their issues with these departments themselves.
