MUNICIPAL PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
January 7, 2010
The regular Municipal Planning Commission Meeting of the County of Newell No. 4 was
held in the County Office at Brooks, AB on Tuesday, January 7, 2010 commencing at
10:00 a.m.

The Chairman called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m.
2. EXCUSED FROM MEETING
Councillor Harbinson was absent but was not excused from the meeting.

P 1/10 MOVED BY COUNCILLOR B. DE JONG that the minutes of the December
23, 2009 Municipal Planning Commission meeting be adopted as presented.

The Chairman called for post agenda items.
5. ADOPTION OF AGENDA
P -2/10 MOVED BY COUNCILLOR A. EASTMAN that the agenda be adopted as
amended.

6. DEVELOPMENT REPORT DECEMBER 5, 2009-DECEMBER 31, 2009
P -3/10 MOVED BY COUNCILLOR I. SCHROEDER that the Development Report
be accepted.

To subdivide an approximate 4.78 Acre vacant parcel from a quarter
section
The County Planner provided background information on the proposed
subdivision.
P 4/10 MOVED BY COUNCILLOR M. DOUGLASS that the Municipal Planning
Commission APPROVE subdivision #2009 -0 -257, subject to the following
conditions:
1. That all outstanding property taxes shall be paid to the County of
Newell.
2. That the applicant enter into an agreement with the County of Newell for
the installation of any required road approaches to the proposed and /or
remnant parcels.
