Councillor I. SCHROEDER commented that questions had been brought to his
attention regarding the process for placing a mobile home on a parcel of
land. After reviewing the development approval requirements for mobile
homes, he felt the current approval process requirements to provide pictures
of the home was not working for developers who may want to install services
before purchasing a specific mobile home. The Development Control Officer
stated that according to the Land Use Bylaw we need to see pictures so that
if the mobile needs improvements it can be put on the permit conditions. She
will review that aspect of the process during a review of the Land Use Bylaw.
