Organizational Meeting

The Organizational Meeting of the County of Newell No. 4 was held
in the County Office at Brooks, Alberta on October 22, 1975 at 10:00 a,m,

Nominations were opened for the position of Deputy Reeve for the
County.

Moved by Councillor Bartlett that all members of County Council sit
on the School Committee, Carried,
6. Agriculture Service Board
Moved by Councillor Janzen that three members of County Council form
the Agriculture Service Board Committee. Carried.

Rolling Hills, as the Farm Representative to the Industrial Board.

20. Meeting Dates
Moved by Councillor Bartlett that we set two meeting dates per
month for County Council Meetings. Carried.
Moved by Councillor Janzen thaatwe set the various Committee Meetings
as follows ;
School Committee Meeting - Monday
Municipal Committee Meeting -Tuesday
A ,S ,B. Meeting - Thursday
County Council Meeting -Friday
of the first full week of each month, and that the second School
Committee Meeting for the month be held two weeks following the first
School Committee Meeting, and the second Council Meeting of the month
be held two weeks following the first meeting of the month. Carried.
21. Mil ease
Moved by Councillor Fabian that no change be made in the present
rate of Councillor Fees Mileage. Carried.
22. Per Diem
Moved by Councillor Fabian that no change be made to the present
Per Diem rate to Councillors, or Committee Members. Carried.

Moved by Councillor Janzen that the meal allowance for Council be
set at X12.00 per day while they are attending Conventions or County
business outside of the County, Carried,
23. Bankin
Moved by Councillor Hajash that the bank signing authority be set
out as follows:
All County banking except Payroll Account to be signed by the Reeve
or Deputy Reeve and the Administrator or Assistant Administrator, and
that the County Payroll Account be signed by the Administrator or
Assistant Administrator. Carried.

The Bonds for the Administrative Staff were presented to County Council
for review.
25. Auditors
Moved by Councillor Fabian that we approve Bevan, Hutch & Co. as
County Auditors. Carried.
